It would be my choice .. But add real GOOD valve gear as in rockers, springs, valves as they rev, rev and rev..
Mine is an aftermarket block with forged rotating assembly...
I used the 5.4 inch rod to have the best rod angle, making life easier on pistons etc..
The oil control ring is JUST over gudgeon pin. Which is NO problem, it runs wide ring gaps with .028 top ring and .032 second ring... As in any good forced induction motor runs...
Often 330 strokers are a little more expensive due to light rotating mass & neutral balancing ...
7.8 compression with two Precision T3 650 h.p turbo's...
Gives 482 RWKW...
The engine HASN'T been touched since being built 8 years ago...

i was looking at the Eagle 331 kit with h beam rods from horsepowerworld with some trickflow trackheat heads, using the original block getting it pressure tested and all that good stuff. im still looking into cams and rocker assemblys.

what transmission are you running by the way

I'm running a TKO600 and Mal Wood twin plate clutch..
The new T5/6 has the strength of these transmissions now..
Yep TFS induction and TFS cam...
Choice between TFS 1 and 2 depends on drivability ???
I would use the TFS 1... Or specs close to it...
Use ARP head studs with thin 3/8 threads...
An RPM Edelbrock inlet gives better low rpm response...
