Hey fellas, whats the best place to buy bottom end rebuild kits and also stroker kits?

Been looking at summit, rocket and also high performance world.

If anyone could give me a heads up where to look or even who/what to stay away from it would be very helpfull.

Cheers

Ben

Yep, I get all my stuff from Summit. Can't say a bad word about their service or prices. Spend wisely and you should be able to do it for that. How much power do you want to make?

not sure on the power really, just want to give it a bit more poke. Seems like a good idea, so why not lol. Basically just want something that is driveable on the road, but i can still give a good squirt and go somewhere. From standard these engines arent much chop.

Already have gt40p heads, e303 cam, cobra intake, 1.7 rockers, plus a few little external extras (underdrives, t/b, maf)

what is the differnece in these?

cheers fellas

Have a read of this http://www.dragzine.com/tech-stories/engine/top-10-tips-for-building-for-your-first-351w-stroker/ as it will help you a lot with this sort of build. 8-)

Anything with Pro in front of it rings alarm bells for me. If they've used "stroke" to replace "comp", then I'd be steering well clear.

Bsjenko, if you are not chasing big horsepower, the you can go for the less expensive components (not forged, not procomp), ensure you go to a quality engine builder/machinist and get it tuned properly.

Your link doesn't work...

That is correct, I didn't check out the website properly. I couldn't find a home button, so didn't bother... They look to use some good gear, although their name does still scare me.
