I wouldnt think so, what are they normally? 225/60/16's arent they you could prolly put a 235/50 on them. Just ask a tyre place and if its safe to do they can just get them ordered in for ya. :)

235/16/50? Bit big to fit 50" tyres on a tickford rim with a 16% profile don't ya think.

But in all seriousness how wide are the rims? If they are 8" then its an easy fit. If its a 7" rim then its up to the discretion of the tyre fitter and with a profile that low i think the most they would allow you is 215 or 225.

I've had 2 different recomendations for my Ghia snowflakes. One tyre fitter said 215 and that's it and another said 245 would be safe.

Yeah it all depends on the tyre fitter, the Tickford rims are 7" which means 235 is about the max you want but they do go on and don't look like they are too big for the rim ie. no buldge or anything.

thanks 4 your input, the rim size is 7 inch and the standard factory tyres are 225. i just want to know if there is a company that make a 235/50/16 tyre. its only 10 mm wider.
