Hey Fella's

The 302 Windsor engine that powers the 93 & 94 Mustang, is this the same engine in the 95 Falcon??

Cheers

Under drive pulley system, and what's the little gadget connected after the pod filter, apparently it restricts the airflow, and Im kinda hoping to find a secondhand mustang one that will give you the same diameter pipe all the way through

I bought one70mm MAF (Mass Air Flow) from the states for my NF 5.0 for about $65 US it has a slip on fitting at both ends - doesn't bolt to air box so is ideal for pod or modify to suit airbox as I did. Just make sure it has the right shaped plug.

You'd probably be better off trying to get hold of an AU MAF housing and bolt that up to your airbox with your stock electrics in it. Put a K&N panel filter in there and cut the front out of your airbox so it gets the cold air from behind the headlights.

That's the poiny here I think, with the OZ dollar so high it's pretty cheap from the US and those AU ones aint cheap either and the plug is different too is it not?

Well, the OP is in NZ, so I don't know how their $ is compared to the US$.

You don't need the AU electrics, just the housing and bolt the stock electrics back in.

'93 is actually different to '94.
'86 to '93 has a different front dress to ours but the base engine is basically the same as ours.
The '94-'95 has a front dress similar(but not identical) to ours but the intake manifold is different.
The base 5.0 HO engine in all cases shares the same 55mm MAF. If it's a Cobra it has a 70mm MAF like the one fairlane6970 has shown in his pic. This is the same MAF used on the EB GT,ED sprint and ELGT but Ford cast up an adaptor flange to fit it to the stock airbox.
