just wondering if anyone on here watch it as alot of people i know hate it, but have no reason behind their choice, i think they dont like it because it doesnt have crazy car chases and people getting shot every 10 seconds like the first one based on the melbourne underworld.
i watch it every sunday night

One of the guys at work gives us a running dissertation on it, his Aunty was Tilly Devine.
My Mum and Nan lived through that era, they didn't think it FUN.

I must say that the subject matter turned me off, sorry.

It's not as good as the last underbelly but I mainly watch it to see where they stuff up on continuity with set/props/backgrounds.

Yeah its not a bad show.
If you take it as it is and understand that there will be a lot of being liberal with the 100% facts in aid of a good show it is interesting.
It seems everyone hasnt liked Underbelly after the first one. The first one was funny and left you thinking how the f**k a bumbling retard like Carl Williams could build up such an empire.
The rest havent been as good because the comedy wasnt there as the kingpins were more calculating and business like.
I reckon you just have to have an interest in crime to like it.

I like it, but EVL got it right, you've got to realise that it's only "Based" on fact, not actual fact.

yeah they sugar coat it probably to get better ratings its not like they are going to put 100% how it happens on there because it would probably bore people more.
and wild-el you can go onto ninemsn website and watch the past episodes if your interested in it.

Then why bother , hate and despise these pathetic shows that embelish everything to the point of being unrecognisable .
