SUPERIOR STOPPING FOR PERFROMANCE DRIVERS

Image

Bendix Street Road Track brake pads are unlike any other on the road. They have been engineered with advanced technology originally created for European racetracks. And now it is available for the street and road; high performance brake pads for high performance driving.

Street Road Track has been developed by one of the world’s leading high performance friction material manufacturers incorporating the latest race technology and extensively tested under extreme conditions. The rear of the pad also features a gasket, for reduced noise and increased heat resistance.

Street Road Track delivers excellence in braking, in both professional and road applications. These brakes are the standard choice for highly skilled drivers who command absolute control of their vehicle. To ensure reliability at every corner, these pads have been comprehensively tested by leading friction engineers to create a pad designed to handle a variety of applications – street, road and track. Bendix Street Road Track has been rigorously assessed against other leading brake pad brands to deliver superior control and consistent braking from the first stop to the last.

CONTINUOUS HARD BRAKING WITH LOW FADE

Ordinary brakes heat up after a few hard stops and the friction level typically takes a dive (fade) meaning you have to push harder to engage the brakes. As you see in the graph, Bendix Street Road Track Maintain their friction level even as the temperature rises with continuous stops, for the same pedal effort.

Road
FRICTION LEVEL MAINTAINS OPTIMAL RELIABILITY

Street Road Track was tested against two leading competitors by applying the brakes in ‘snubs’* that reduce the speed by 40km/h from the starting speed and measuring the speed and pressure sensitivity. As the graph demonstrates, Street Road Track delivers outstanding friction stability for complete control on the road.

* A snub is a brake application that doesn’t completely stop the car.

Track
STABLE FRICTION THROUGHOUT THE STOP AT ALL TEMPERATURES

Stability for brake race materials is paramount for optimal brake balance. If the rears step up in friction and the fronts fade off, a hard brake will lockup the rears and spin the vehicle into a sandpit. So we put Street Road Track through its paces on race tracks and one of the world’s most challenging simulation tracks. The graph shows the temperature range as the brakes are applied into Turn 1, slowing from 195km/h to 95km/m creating a “g-force” of 0.75g which is close to lock-up. This process was repeated for 10 simulated laps. The result shows extremely stable and reliable performance compared to other leading competitors.

I've been using these for a couple years now. Never had any fade at all. Even on a track day with only a couple mm left on the pads. The high temp fluid helps too.
Can't go past these pads in my opinion. Should be around the $240 mark.

The best brake pad i have used.
I always used the Ultimates & one day i desided to use the SRT's.
I have the DBA 4000 series rotors & the SRT. I aways had the 4000 series even when using the Ultimates. The SRT's out brake the Ultimates all round from cold to hot.
Extremely happy with the Bendix SRT's. :D :D :D :D

Unfortunately Bendix do not yet make the SRT pads for the Hilux V6 GGN15.
Keep in mind SRT pads are for those who do regular track work.

Bendix make heavy duty and 4WD pads to suit the GGN15.

Here is the catalogue for part numbers and further reference:
