Your asking along the lines like..
Can a model T engine be made to run in F1 ???
Trust me there's so many stuffed or cheap SOHC engines out there..
Just grab the manifolds off them, buy some second hand 36/ 42 Lb injectors
http://forums.corral.net/forums/fuel-system-related/ for $120 + $25 freight..
Then ECU or J3 tuner to tune or you'll have engine issues ..

The ignition curve is totally different with forced induction engines..
They retard big time when boosted...
HTH ..Hope this helps..

I have seen the twin point used on a modified motor, but it used 3 of them and a fabricated twin cam head on AU XR6 block! (before barra i6)

You need to add fuel in some way...
Either add a couple more injectors ???
Fit a rising rate fuel reg and good fuel pump..
To push against higher fuel pressures...

Bodgy but that's what they to the early XR6t's by rising fuel pressure..
You can also fit an MSD boost retard box...Or similar...
