...follow the wiring diagram in the Gregory's. Should be able to work it out from there.

The relays along the battery have labels on them...I can't remember what they are, but they have labels on the cover (if you lost your cover...get a new one).

One of the relays under the header tank is the fuel pump relay. I think it's the middle one. Not sure what the rest are.

Relays in front of the airbox...what EAfalconS said.

The useless Gregory's does show and has labelled the relay bank near the battery.
You need to look again.

I'm guessing the lack of response means that nobody can be bothered doing the yards for you.
There is a search function, and the factory manuals are available online for download if you know where to look.

Under the water tank, there are 3 relays

The normal white one is the WAC relay, sometimes it linked to a circuit breaker.

The green one is the fuel pump relay

The black one is the ECU relay.

Beside the battery, there are 4 relays, 1~4 from water tank to headlight direction, they are:
1, starter relay, 2, headlamp relay, 3, high beam relay, 4, horn relay.

under the air filter box, there are some relays, for radiator fan control. Be careful some of those relays are "normally open" type some are "normally close" type.

I came looking here to confirm the starter relay location on my 1997 DL LTD (so EL). The workshop manual doesn't identify it. On the driver side, under the header tank there are two relays in sockets of the same model nearest the bay wall, and two relays hung next to them nearer the engine - but no labelling of which is for what. There is also another enclosed relay box on the passenger side just in front of the air filter box, with three plug-in relays fitted and one socket empty - that box has numbering from 1 to 4, but again no indication/label of functions.

Appreciate any confirmation of those relay functions for the LTD, as other post comments don't appear to relate.

The 3 under header tank green : brown:

The 4 or 5 next to the battery :

The 4 below air box under passenger headlight :

And if possible which fuse is for each relay

The 3 green relays below the catch basin:

These green relays may be associated with the vehicle's cooling system, controlling components such as the cooling fan or cooling pump. The brown relays may be used for other systems such as air conditioning or auxiliary equipment.
4 or 5 relays next to the battery:

These relays may control the car's starting system, lights, horn, and other electrical components.
4 relays under the air box below the passenger headlight:

These relays may be associated with the vehicle's air conditioner, heater, fan, etc.Note that the above is only a general reference, if you need very accurate data, you need to consult the manufacturer of the car
