Hey guys, just looking at air intake options for my 94 XG ute?

I was looking into pod filters but without building a custom box it would just be sucking up hot air.

Do the xr6 versions of my model have a different air intake setup? or will another model suit?

cheers =)

Have a look at the xh snorkel for the standard airbox. It might give you some ideas. :D

What he said.
Plus get the airbox to throttle body piping from an EA, it has no restriction and will flow more air.
A good air filter like a K&N or Fram will also help.
8-)

thanks guys appreciate it, so it would be better to use piping of an ea and then bring it into an xh snorkel.. Ill look around and see what i can find, do you guys think i should go pod or just get a k&n panel filter?

I don't think on a fairly stock car that you can beat a clean standard filter. I fitted a K & N to my ute with bugger all change, but you can clean and reuse it.
