Car won't lock.
It locks then unlocks straight away, I have made sure the doors are closed a couple of times but to no avail. Have pulled the drivers door open to find nothing that would be stoping the acturator. It was working fine this morning now its not. Any one else had this problem Thanks Chewy59 |

does the horn sound 4 times really fast?
if it does, then it might be one of the switches for the interior lighting. |

Have triad that, pulled all of them out and cleaned them, checked that the interior light worked with them.
And it still does it. |

One of the actuators is not working.

Have checked them all indivually ie. opened each door/boot to activate the interior light, then closed them and waited till the light went out before I opened another door/boot.

Sorry I thought you meant the the door switches.
How would you find out which actuator is not working? |

sit inside the car, press the lock button and look to see if the front two locks slide down, if they do they are working.
then sit in the back and listen closely or pull the door skins off and have a look takes no more than 5mins a skin it could also be one of the plastic door lock nobs are on too far and when you lock it it wont let the actuator pull it all the way down and that makes it go up again. |

Thank you for your help.
It turned out to be the boot one, the motor "gave up" So now I have to get another one cheaply, any suggestions? |
