I think it has something to do with if you unlock it via the remote, it will auto lock after 1 minute. My BA did it to me 3-4 times, I ended up leaving the window down a fraction so I could fit hand in.

Also found if you open and close via the actual key hole lock, it won't do it. And I might also be able to be turned off in the settings. Hopefully helped a little, if vague.

The auto lock function is only if you unlock it and don't open a door. If the key is in the ignition you shouldn't be able to lock it?!?! i.e. you can't put you phone on charge and lock the door with the remote... Maybe it's only if you have the ignition on acc?!?! Not sure... Sounds a bit weird to me.

Not from what I experienced? I remember once I was actually in my car waiting for flood waters to reside, so I went to go have a look. Silly me left the key on the seat with the windows up (was spitting and didn't want everything soaked). The second I shut the door, about 2 seconds later it all locked.
