Ill upload scans of the factory manual pin descriptions when i get back inside in a minute. I think thats its only tells you the pin number and description, no diagram. Is that ok?

workshop manual diagram shows one wire going to pin 38 (light green/red) and one wire joins into a grey/red wire the same as tps and air charge temp sensor

Not sure if its (still) relevant, but the Temp line only goes to the ECU. Not split to the dash. The ECU uses a Data line to transmit to the Dash Engine Temp, Injector Pulse-width, Gear position and a number of other items

The EF/EL (actual engine) harness still has provision for the Temp sensor that EB ED needs (Seperate sensor, cant for life of me remember where it is without looking at the car). That wire goes to salt/pepper shaker connectors but isnt wired past there on the EEC V. on an EB ED, that then goes straight to the dash. On and EB ED you may possibly also have a seperate climate control engine temp sensor
