I need to repaint my Tickford rocker cover as its getting a little dull, can anyone recommend a nice bright red ( similar to the Tickford red ) which will last with the heat and is easy enough to get?

Maybe look at having it powdercoated instead of painting.

Yeah I had thought about it, but it's expensive and not really worth it since its only a rocker cover. It really only needs a touch up so I can dress up the engine bay a little.

Go look at KWIKXR's build thread, he's painted his rocker cover numerous times with only a spray can with fantastic results.

If you decide to powder coat it then I suggest Black dog powder coating in Carrum downs he did all mine cheap. I was willing to wait a couple of days and he just slipped them in when he was doing a batch of the colour I wanted. But if others on here have had success with painting might be the way to go.
