I have an airbag light flashing 3 times and then twice. The searches suggest this is a code 32 and they also suggest that most code 32 warnings are clock spring related.
I can buy a new one from Ford for around $212 or one from a wrecker for $65.
As this part is early model AU specific, would it be better to pay the price of a new unit up front or should I take a chance on the life span of a the used part?
Unfortunately I don't know the mileage of the vehicle the used part is coming from.

Ebay it mate. I still reckon $65 for a clock springs expensive. My Ef's clock spring only shat itself due to the wires getting caught when the steering wheel gave way while removing the wheel. I have a second hand one on now and she's been going for around 12 months no issue.
