I have bought Premium ICC which I want to build a CarPC for my BF MKII XT Wagon. Before installing I want to "bench test" It.

I have a 12v 30A (and 5v 10A if needed) DC power supply. I want to do this to mainly test the software side of things and fitment of hardware (motherboard, SSD, VGAcard etc etc).

If things go well I would also try installing an amp and speakers but this isn't critical but would be nice if I had a high enough power supply.

Ive read alot of posts but I only saw a vid with someone testing the touchscreen but using the PC monitor.

Any ideas of how to go about it, has anyone done this, or would this be too hard?

Cheers

as far as im aware the ICC wont do anything until it reads the VIN from the vehicle it is linked to, thus powering it up on the bench would probably achieve nothing.
Not something i've tried though so dont quote me on it :(
