Pulled the valley cover off my AU 5 litre motor today and located a metal piece under there. Can't find a doco on posting pics so i'll try describe it. It is 25mm long, one end is a sqarish shape with "AA" stamped on it. Rest is a cylinder shape about 8mm diameter stepping down to 5mm diameter. I'm thinking it may be the guts out of the PCV as the guts were missing out of it and there is no mesh in the bottom of the PCV hole. Any thoughts?

U upload pics in 'reply' or 'post topic' etc. Down the bottom left corner of the script box (which you write in) there is an 'add attachment' tab click this tab to upload pics

On the other subject Im assuming its the guts

Haha stupid HTC heaps of crap to mate haha so take another pic from furthur away then crop it in the edit pic options in your phone. My old Nokia could actually resize pic too that was helpful also but now this HTC has a virus its not uploading pics in thread saying invalid corrupt file :(

Try edit your pics mate see if that helps

On a 6 cylinder this is the valve part out of the PCV in the rocker cover... When the a** blows out of them this part falls out and normally has a spring on top of it too to keep it pressed down...

Maybe it fell out of a crook PCV once and was lucky to end up where it ended up? :?

Cheers,
Tim
