Hi guys just looking for some advice. I've got a 05 ba xr8 ford Recently I took my car out for a skid and now I'm having problems with the transmission. It's a 4 speed auto with 150000kms on it, every time I go to take off the car goes up and and down in revs and then finally changes to second and runs fine. What could be the problem here?

To many skids on a standard transmission is the first problem.
