hOW DO U CHANGE THE TUNE ON A J3 CHIP. MINE WAS PREPROGRAMED but is dumping in far to much fuel and just about fouling up plugs within 10 mins of running

if you dont have a programmer, then you would need to send it back to where u got it from, or take it to a dyno tuner who can reprogram it

did you clean the j3 port properly before installing? as in scrape the clear s**t off the pins, not just wipe the white paste off?

no i have the programer its just when i have the chip in the programer plugged into pc i open tuner pro rt and it doesnt auto detect and i wanna bring up the ve tables but cant as tunerpro is not detecting chip. j3 port is spotless so thats not problem. im running a 550hp pump but i told jason from ti that

with tuner pro open, what does it say down the bottom left corner? no hardware found? or ostrich v10.10.0?

ok, well its reading the programmer, click the blue arrow pointing down (up the top of screen) that says "download bin from emulator to tunerpro" obviously with the chip plugged into the programmer

it comes up with no xdf file specified, or xdf specifies bin of 0 size

what car is the tune for? you'll need to download an .xdf from the ti site to match the .bin
