Hey, I notice that alot of EF/EL's have the surround that is around all the gauges inside the cluster painted silver. I'd like to do this too. I know how to dismantle the cluster, but I'm unsure on what sort of paint would be best and how best to prepare it. Any advice would be appreciated.

I just used plastic primer, then 2 coats of touch up aerosol in Argon Silver (D7? from memory) followed by 2 coats of clear. Did this on all 3 clusters my EF had, looked a million bucks each time.
