Well its come time that the car won't be finished to what I wanted. I got a job over East in Canberra and plans are to move end of this year. So had a talk with the war and finance minister and decision was made to sell the ute. Having a two seater project car is not a good idea especially when everyone in the family wants to go for a spin.

So decision is made to sell the ute and once settled be able to start looking again for another project. But don't threat I am keeping the motor and gearbox for next project. Decision is to go for a nice old XW thats got a decent body already, so I can finish the motor off and drop it in. Really like the look of the GS models so hopefully find a nice rolling chassis with a decent paint job.

The ute is being sold to reinvest in next car. A mate is buying it with the addition that I get to buy it back if he is thinking of selling it later on. Still love the old girl but with a family with two boys a ute as a project doesn't help on cruising days.

A big thankyou to XF84 for the ideas to start the build an Jeff and the boys at Streetbuilt who helped out with the planning. Its a shame it wont be finished but things change and hopefully its for the better with a different build in mine to start next year. Its not a end to this build just a delay I hope.
