I've read a lot about x-cal and their ability to hold 3 tunes (quoted $1499 all up inc dyno time)
i was wondering if there are any tuners in Sydney who do one-off tunes without needing to purchase controllers etc. I want to tune for 95 ron (towing/torque emphasis) and the only mods are a set of pacemaker 4500 and typhoon intake what is a good price for this sort of work?? |

nope, the flash tuners are vin locked to your car once tuned and can not be used on another car until you restore your factory tune.. so to have it tuned you need to buy the tuner box aswell as get it tuned..
$1400 is around the going rate for a xcal and tuning. |

So the only way to save $$$ is to purchase your own controller???

i can get a SCT 3000 x3 on amazon, is this the same unit as the SCT 3000au x3 ??

unfortunately the us flash tuners wont work on Australian cars.
you need one from sct dealer in Australia |
