not really much of a modification more of a fix
i havent tried to fix it yet but looking at what to do, my front bar on the BA XR has dropped on the passenger side and just wandering if its easy to fix, i.e. some screws / bolts loose or broken clip or is it something for a body shop to work on? you can see the seperation under the lights and it doesnt look pretty any advice welcomed Cheers

justt glasss it up, make the car looks like like a fibre ball, then to this is my asqut.....this is my squat......

There is a thread on here somewhere relating to this same problem already... I have the same issue myself, just far too lazy to fix it =D

Does anyone know where the thread is relating to sagging front bumpers on BA XR's? Can't seem to find it and there's 152 pages of posts. Wow. Bought mine new 10 years ago this month and the dealer said "they're all like that". Mine has got progressively worse over the years to the point where the top of the grille has a huge gap between it and the leading edge of the bonnet. Very ugly and I would like to fix it. Thanks if you can help...cheers

Thanks if you can help...cheers While I don't own a B series, the trick alot of guys do (Ford included) is to remove the number plate and put a couple of large screws through the bumper into the Bar Reo. Then refit the number plate. This is a fairly common problem, especially with the XR Bars. |

mines only just starting to show the gap, i think swc's idea is the best to prevent it happening again

Thanks guys for such a quick response. Think I'll go outside now into the beautiful Queensland sunshine and pull the front plate off to have a look. Sounds easy enough even for me to do...thanks again

Use stainless steel screws if you can get them, they don't rust
