after doing a quick search on the web about converting a 99 au ute manual window regulators to electric i couldn't find anything with pictures!!! So i thought i'll do i little write up.

first source the regulators, i bought my non genuine ford ones from ebay.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/170494653583 ... 1439.l2649

first take off the door trim. mine had a screw in the handle, two at the bottom and one on the side, yours may be different.

after the clips are undone i lifted the window and secured it with tape.

after the window is secured undo the nuts highlighted. i started with the slider? then the three nuts securing the regulator.

after the regulator is out you can begin to put the new one in the same way you took the old out.
