Made one of these a few months ago and it's going well. I'm using an adjustable one and it's up all the way. The changes are smooth and not really noticeable. It works well with power mode when I've got my foot to the floor. Using the resistor makes the shifts really harsh and worse than it was before I installed the kit.
I leave the kit turned on all the time now mostly because I forget about it until I see the switch

And how if it's Different than the 6?
