Howdy,

The silver contact they use on the BA shifter surround has started bubbling... It seems like a fairly common occurrence so hopefully someone knows how to remove that silver plate!
I took the outer trim off and took out all the screws and bolts I could see (6 of them). But the silver trim plate (where all the lights are for D/N/R/P) seems to be locked into position.

Is there an easy way to remove it?

I've decided to wrap all the silver bits of trim in carbon wrap.
Already done the big bit on the passenger side :)

Looks killer imo :D
