I am looking at buying a 89 Nissan XFN Ute. Just wondering if this is 100% Ford but with Nissan name? Thinking I might have to buy a few parts here and there for it, just wanted to make sure I can buy just normal Ford FX parts?

Parts needed: Triangle window latch and door lock part for for door. But being an old car, sure more things will come along.

Also what sort of towing capacity would it have? Guy said 3000kg Braked. Sounds like a lot. Is this true?

IIRC the Nissan was same except for decals and badges. Everything XF will work fine.

As for towing it's either 1600 or 2300kg, the latter for an auto with the right gear fitted.

Having some bad luck in finding the window part. Any ideas where to go? Wreckers saying the Ford FX dont have this type ):

Nissan rebadge ute and the XF Ute were the same apart from the badge.
