will an EF start without its fuse box?

the fuse panel under the steering wheel was sold for 30 bux, i forgot that one day ill have to start the car and move it again. the guy cut the wires behind it and took the black panel away (just the black panel).

I turned the key, the engine cranked, but doesnt successfuly start.

Ok thanks so much for the answer. Saved me from all the hassle.

Would you want to explain why exactly?

Thanks

i'm surprised it even cranked over, some of those fuses you sold are needed to activate the ignition system so it will start , crt/lamp fuse for one, there are a few more , with out them it is a no go

Yeah, the whole point of it cranking over is what got me curious...

I thought it shouldnt even crank, but it did. almost fired up, but then just went back to cranking forever..

I would like to know what exactly happens without a fuse box lol
