One would be the bem/bcm. One is smartlock module.

Red/orange is the smartlock and blue is the mid series BEM...

Cheers,
Tim

IF you want the car to run .... they stay . . . unless you convert car to carbi & points

The BEM does your intermittent wipers, lights out delay, and all that stuff... If you unplug the blue one you'll find your wipers don't work properly, nor will your interior light (lights out delay anyway)... Unless you make a special circuit to run these things then you need the blue one... Why make a circuit when it exists in the BEM? Just use the BEM... Mount it elsewhere if it's in the road...

The orange smartlock is the immobilisation one... It wont be required with an aftermarket PCM... However with it unplugged the car wont start as it breaks the starter circuit... You'll need to bridge the two wires in and out to the starter motor...

Cheers,
Tim
