Thicker head gasket or doubling up on a gasket is the easiest way to lower compression.
but changing you piston and/or con rod setup is a better and sure way to do it, specially if you plan on running a higher boost or flogging it.

sure some of the turbo boys will confirm/correct me.

Yeah am goin to run an MLS 1.3mm head gasket. Also while its apart putting new valves, springs, piston rings, main and conrod bearings. as my bore is perfect usually after 250,000 k's you'd expect a tiny lip, but mine hasn't it was very well looked after. Anything else i should do or something i have wrong?? :?: :?: :?:

when it comes to TURBOING i have no idea sorry.
besides doing the oil return line to the sump while its off the car.

Probably better to speak to someone who has done it before or knows what they are talking about.

niether did i lol but i did mine with myself(a furniture deliverer)my mates Malcom(a cheff), Cam(a welder) and Wiggs (not much lol) and we did it with no idea how it worked and it took us two days and a few cartons its really that easy.

thought id update I ran a 1.5 mm head gasket spacer aswell as head gasket and have been told it stuffed up because of the tune ?? but is booked in to get dyno and tune very soon but if in nsw don't get a j3 coz no one will touch them just fyi

Put engine back together and it missing like a blind man checked plugs, leads and injector. Its number four cylinder and is not working at all wtf ??????
