Hello,

Google is your friend. I put the gauge under the dash, no point having to stop and lift the bonnet to see how hot the Oil is. The sender can replace the Sump plug, if you take the sump off you can thread a hole and leave it separate. Alloy Tap a threads, steel drill a hole and weld a nut. Going back you could buy a dipstick which was a sender, dont bother. ( I had one years ago and never would again ) You should be able to buy a sender which is the same thread as your sump plug.
