Hey guys, have been searching for some xg xr6 headlights for ages-not only are they rare as hens teeth but can be bloody expensive aswell so when these came up at a good price I had to grab them, just the surrounds thou but in great condition & came with a grille (xg standard & xr6 grilles are the same?)and seeing as thou I have to do some fibreglass repairs on my xh rear bumper anyway I'm considering converting it to whats in the pic-dual exhaust exit with the number plate recess centered (no tow bar obviously),so if anyone has the headlight assembly's they want to sell (even just one side) shoot us a pm,cheers,Johnny.

Did want to ask about the fg manifold and if your using the BF inlet manifold control solenoid with fg manifold and how that works,am going to do the fg manifold when I put the alloy header tank in and sort the wiring out to a nice neat harness  ,cheers Johnny.

Hey guys, bit slow progress atm-ye ol xg fpv wannabe will have to wait a bit longer for the new diff brakes and suspension-BUT in the meantime the engine bay is getting a long overdue neaten up,so most of the cold side is coming out-manifold,coolant tank, modified eec-v airbox (going in) with the big pod,so a fg intake manifold is going back in (ba tb & injectors-fg fuel rail & reg),will also be changing the vss aswell and neaten wrap & secure wiring to look more "from factory" so to speak, anyway a few pics of new tank and manifold, cheers Johnny.

p.s if weather permits I'll post some pics of manifold install.

Weather still crap,so doing what I can, redrilled new holes for the tb & fitted to the manifold-the spacer helps create a better surface area to seal properly, spacers fitted with fuel rail & ba injectors, cheers Johnny......pics

Hey guys, finally got some s**t done, weird feeling ripping all this out (while its been functioning as good as it has)but it had to be done, reconfiguring the heater pipes using the fg pipes is looking good to use with the new expansion tank and its also made me have a rethink about deleting the aircon (Please if anyone has a a/c delete bracket & pulley to sell Please shoot me a PM with a price),will update as I progress, cheers Johnny.

Can someone tell me what these rims are off-made in 98.

Hey guys, got a new aluminum radiator-as the old radiator has been worrying me for a while (no milkshake PLEASE!) the end tank got accidently twisted (trans side) so only $30-40 difference in price to a standard radiator and hopefully shouldn't have to worry about the dreaded mix of transmission oil and coolant destroying both engine and box,had to make brackets for thermo fans (bottom) and the fg heater pipe from stainless steel 4 brackets=$4+ everything being aluminium should help with cooling aswell, will have to get a tune once running as I'm sure it will be way out.

Use electrical wire to earth from radiator to Body/Battery.

If you don't, the radiator won't last long.

Thanks SWC,yea I thought I'd earth both the radiator and the tank,as MAD2 said is there any best way to do this-or just run a earth wire from both to body?

Unless the tank has a direct connection to the body (earthed), I would add a earth wire.
