Hi modders,
just a quick question on the fan in the ef/el.
Is it a dash out job to remove the fan to clean the leafs out of it? or can it be removed with the dash in still? i have had a quick look under the dash around the fan (when i found the hidden thing) and looks painful to get at. any help would be appreciated thanks.

Rob

Thanks SWC,
Thought that would be the case.
I'm guessing E series are a PITA to do a dash out on?
Guess its staying the way it is, i'll get used to the noise i think.

Once you've done one or two you can get the E series dash out in no time... Lot easier than the B series... Not sure about the EF/EL handbrake, whether it is in the road of the console or not like B series... The ED but is simple as...

The worst part is getting the heaterbox out to split the halves to clean it... For one you have to de-gas the A/C and two have to try and get the pesky nuts behind the motor...

Cheers,
Tim
