Hey Guys, First time poster.

I'm just your average P-Plater with a an old Falcon looking to make it look and sound nicer. I'm in no rush and I guess my price range would be a max of $4K.

I drive an 07' Falcon XT BF MKII.

I've been looking around all the forums and such and can't find too much about an XT BF, it's all mostly XR6s. Am I even able to mod an XT? Hope you guys can help! Wanna get this thing looking sweet and not stock. Also am I able to install fog lights?

Cheers!
- Hayden

Anything that can be done to a non-turbo XR can be done to the XT. XR's are an XT with a body kit and slight suspension work.

Oh thanks so much! That clears up a heap of confusion on my end :?

Are there any particular mods you'd recommend to make it look or sound a little better?

Hello,

The XR also had a few engine tweeks. As you dont have P plates showing, I would start on the inside to make it a nice Car to enjoy driving. A Fairmont interior, with leather seats, steering wheel and other bits. XR stuff can also be used. Do your research first, many things will go in without drama, some will require you to swap a wiring harness or electronic module.

Fog lights ? Look on E Bay, you can get genuine ones to fit the bumper and a switch to suit. Most likely you will have to run the wires and fit a relay.

Your age group is a target for Cops, they dont like going to a crash scene where an idiot has killed a family. They dont really pick on P platers, but if you dont draw attention to yourself you wont have problems. Keep it quiet and make it a nicer driving Car. A white Falcon is a very popular Car, a white hat and tissue box on the back shelf makes it look like an oldies Car. You wont stand out, but far less likely to get booked. If 2 Cars are doing the same thing, like a bit over the speed limit, let the noise and stripes get the ticket.

BF XR6 NA had 3.46:1 LSD.

NA Engine is the same as the XT.
