Hello people. I am new to the Ford mod forum and I am having trouble identify the spice hardy part number to replace the slip yoke in my XH (5/1997) Ute. $420 bucks from ford dealer!!!!! and guess where they get them from... I think the 2-3-8251X slip yoke is the correct part number, can any body confirm this. Alternately does anybody have the dimensions for a slip yoke for a ef/el. Note - I don't have original, some low life stole it. Dog tore them up good, blood all over the driveway.....lol.

presume that's in inches yeah? ... can compare against the ones here - AU & EB. with or without that big balance weight??

Thank you for your reply Mad2. The local wrecker just got a EL sedan in so I scored the tailshaft out of it ($25). Took it to truckline and they measured it up. Hardyspicer part number 2-3-8251X for the slipyoke and K5-13XR for the stock replacement universal joints and K5-13XRHD for heavy duty version, alternatively SPICER DANA 5-153X is the same as K5-13XR. Dimension in above picture are correct (imperial measurements). Hope this is helpful to someone.

Oh forgot to mention $84.84 for the slipyoke and $48.99 for two replacement universal joints. FORD DEALER - slipyoke (at trade price) $352 and universal joints $124 each!!!!!!! Will fit EB series2 to EL falcon manuals and automatics.
