As in the title is there a way to make the lights in a 2011 fg xr6 turn on when it's dark at night?

I don't think you can do it through the light sensor to do it only when it's dark.
But there is a menu on the ICC to change what happens upon locking and unlocking your car. If it can be done, it will be in there... If not, then I'm not sure if there is any after market kits which do it... But if you haven't looked in there... Try that.

I am guessing you are talking about the headlights? There is no option in the ICC or cluster to be able to change it so when you unlock the headlights are on, the only way you are able to have them on when you unlock the car is install a lights on feature kit where the headlights are constantly on and when you lock the car they will turn off.

Yeah I have had a look in the menu, and all I can find is follow me home lighting which keeps the lights on after I get out of the car.

no way i know of having the headlights on at unlock, can have them on auto so they turn on when you turn the key. why do you want them on at unlock?

It has follow me home lighting where the lights stay on after locking in the dark thought it would do the same when I unlock when I'm walking to the car.
Ve commodore has this so thought my car would have it too.

think me other half's turns lights on at night? [BF] has the lights on auto
