Looking for help.
No spark from coil.
Replaced coil with working one but still no spark.
I'm about to throw a brick through the windscreen and burn it
Cheers

Are you getting fuel/injector pulse?

What is the smartlock light doing?

This is the first computer car I've worked on.
Not to sound stupid but where is the smart lock light on the dash.
And what does it do

Mate what he means, are you getting an injector pulse, when the distributor turns over the hall sensor inside creates a digital square wave known as a pip signal. The ecu will not turn the injectors on if it doe's not see one, no spark and no fuel pump ground on pin 22. Even though you changed the ignition module, the problem will most likely be the hall sensor in the distributor. Put a new dizzy in it and not one of those cheap chinese one's.

Smartlock light is in the centre of the dash between the Tacho and the Speedo.

It should be flashing at a steady rate when the key is off and when you turn the key to reds it should go off within a second or so.

Smartlock is the Factory security system (imobiliser). It shuts down spark and injector pulse etc so you can't start the car without the key.

You can buy the TFI Module (Hall sensor) separately from the distributor and just replace it. It is honestly easier to do than trying to pull the distributor out in a tight space and have to realign everything and check timing when putting it back in.

Was confused by your comment and realised the TFI was already replaced. Was on my phone and those comments weren't shown :?

My bad
