Lowering always helps. Lower centre of gravity means better handling. Too low doesn't help of course but generally it does help.

Probably won't be doing a 4 link but I'll lower the rear and upgrade the front.

Spoke to Bruce Heinrich and he's confident he can get me 300rwkw plus with cams and intake.

Lol compared to a Coyote just needs a tune to get 380 at the treads
.

I took the plunge and just bought one. Immaculate condition MK2 with genuine 26,000ks. Originally was looking at an Auto but alas, you can take me out of the manual but you can't take the manual outta me!! Goodbye quarter mile times and hello clutch lol

Good move. My GS is manual. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Cheers mate.
Car is delivered Thursday and I'll book in the cam/exhaust work after maybe 3 months.
I can't believe this all started from a V8 XH project car worth 6k (before I found the rust :/) and then suddenly jumped into the 20's. Whoops

Sitting at my mates garage.
The 4.0L is still fully installed but I removed the dash to paint and modify so the car isn't running.

The 302 is mostly rebuilt (new rings etc) except for cam as I was going to put a lumpy one in it.
Everything else, the V8T5, 3:45 leaf spring lsd, frame and mounts are just sitting there next to it.

I should sell it it all as the T5 is in great condition, has a short shift & I'm pretty sure it's got a new extreme clutch in it too
