How does one program the smartlock remote in an XG? I know how it's done on an EB/ED and on an EF/EL, but how's it done on an XG?

From factory, no they don't.
You'd have to find the boot output line from the smartlock module.

didn't think c/locking was xg also - if same procedure as xh earth 2nd pin in from top right of diagnostic plug 3 times in acc.position- if it has the pin fitted-doors closed -within 5 sec of acc.

That pin in the XH diag plug is connected to the rear demist line.
