It was different. I had working DOL Data for the cluster, and working E46 Paddle shifters for the ford 4sp auto (Running TS50 EEC Code). It was a lot of fun.

Ok so yesterday I fitted the pod inside the standard airbox and it has definitely made a difference in power. It seems more eager, I guess..?
Also found out that BA/BF XR6T snorkel is actually the same as the Tickford AU snorkel but doesn't have the wings stamp.
I'm getting the Tickford one, though.
Will look into getting an F6 behind the headlight intake a well. Instead of cutting the front of the airbox out and exposing it to engine bay temp air.

The Crane 1.72 rollers are a direct bolt on and I'll be using the pushrods as well.

Just have to chase up some Paceys and I'll build the exhaust.
Update as I go... :D

I'd be skeptical that it's made a difference in either power or response. Temperature would be much a more likely candidate.

There's also the human perception side of things. When I was 17 years old I installed a K&N pod filter into my mums Honda Integra 1.6L. The air was rammed into the the filter by a custom intake.

Now believe me when I say this, I have never and I repeat, NEVER heard an engine noise change so dramatically from a POD filter. The car was stock as a rock with a pea shooter exhaust, but when the intake went on it was loud and throaty and sounded like a worked motor. The whole engine noise changed under acceleration. It was a hell of a lot louder aswell.
Now while the car seemed like it had better response, power and acceleration, apart from the cool noise it was making. Nothing had changed. That is the reality of Pod Filters.
