Hi just a quick question, I am going to change my coolant in my ba falcon but like a lot of others my heater don't work. How will that effect the "bleeding" process when I can't turn the heater on.
Thanks
Garry

The heater shaft I assume is broken. I can hear the motor turning but no heat so can't turn the heater on.

The blend door only directs airflow - the heater tap controls water flow. Check the two heater core hoses for heat. The heater tap is normally open, and needs vacuum to close, that is, the diaphragm pulls the tap arm in.
And yes, any falcon with a motor driven blend door (EA onwards) can suffer shaft breakage, a very long term design fault not fixed AFAIK. Manual ones should be fine.

So the fact that the heater doesnt work won't affect me changing the coolant.

Read my post a few more times, and do what I've suggested.
