The T-Bar linkage is on the opposite side of the box compared to the earlier models & 90% of the BA's don't have the speedo gear or unit on the output shaft

The selector shaft is still present on the drivers side of the gearbox, it still has a 'square' spline on it, it just doesn't have a a thread on it to secure the linkage with a nut. I ended up taking a small weld onto the end of the selector shaft to keep the linkage from falling off, dodgy yes, effective yes haha.

Also you can swap an early 93LE extension housing with the later one to retain the ouput shaft speed sensor. But a shim needs to be made for the gear as the output shaft for some reason is smaller in diameter to the earlier 93LE's.

- Or you could pull the valvebody off & swap the selector shafts & the internal wiring over, But if you don't know what you are doing, you'll end up in trouble! A BA box in an EF is not a straight swap over unless you want to stuff around converting it (which is expensive if you can't do it yourself) - Much easier getting an AU box & swap bellhousings over.

hahahaha.. Your funny...

Nothing gets better or stronger in new models. It just gets cheaper and nastier with a prettier cover.

The BA/F and subsequenty the FG's are testament to that.
