Hi fella's,
I had the dreaded radiator and transmission breakdown. I was after views on this idea.

I am currently fitting an external transmission cooler to my 2005 BA MK2 wagon (ex Telstra)..I was thinking of filling the section of my radiator were the transmission fluid used to circulate through, with Anti freeze anti corrosion fluid and I have purchased 2 brass screw in plugs to seal that part of the radiator after filling with anti freeze..
My thoughts are..this way, that part of my "new radiator" wont be dry and open to corrosion etc..the anti freeze would be better then leaving it dry I would think? what's you thoughts.
Cheers,
Baz
