Hi again folks. I am still in the dark about trans fluid for the ZF 6 speed box in the FG. I have done a lot of research, and it boils down to either the Lifeguard 6, or the Shell ATFM 1375.4.

Now, the Lifeguard sells for anything up to $50 a litre, and the Shell, well I am not sure yet, as I can't find anywhere on line to buy it from!

Has anybody on the forum experience with the Shell product. For all intents, it is the same as the Lifeguard. Even the manual that I bought (Haynes) recommends it.

So, the questions are: Have ppl used the Shell product, and with what effect, and, wheredoyageddit???

Cheers.

O.k., after a lot of phoning around, and researching, I have found out that the Shell product is not brought into Australia, so that's why I couldn't find it. I can get it from Europe, but the postage!!!

Anyway, my next choice is the Nulon product, SYNTAF. I ask the same questions: Has anybody out there used this product in their ZF, and with what effect?

Cheers.

Another Forum has a large thread on this. The Shift Quality Suffers under SynATF. Most people go back to lifeguard.
