If it has Traction control it will have part num WR2A-2c353-AA or AB. Or 1R23-2C353-AA or AB. Std ABS will have -2C346.

I can't comment on the BA XR6 but my AUII Fairmont traction control is very agressive - there is no way it would let the wheels spin at all while the system is enabled.

thanks for the replys, from what you guys descibe it doesnt have traction control, if the road is wet or dirty (eg today in brisbane =D) it goes of like a frog in a sock. but on a dry day, for example, dumping it into a round about and putting the foot down it just seems to load up and cuts out... could be something else.
and to be descriptive on what it is its a SR falcon 2001 auto.

I have a tickford spec Fairmont with traction control, but have no problems rippin a burnout ,it doesn't die in the a*** at all..i push the T.C button bt nothing happens,I noticed im missing one of the bigger fuses under the bonnet that may be the reason.
Does anyone else have a square fuse missing under the bonnet
I think its 2nd one from the top..near coolant resivour .
