The unit will read the faults codes on XF-EL.... will do your DF
Displays via 3 digit display. Select Engine, Trans, ABS and Airbag (except airbag/ABS 1997 and later EL). Comes with 66 page userguide/code tables. Plugs into the diagnostic connector near fuse panel on EB2-EL. An adapter cable is supplied to connect into diag connectors in engine bay on XF-EB. |

Received my diagnostic unit during the week - it's extremely well made and the instruction manual is excellent.
I've already put it to good use - the passenger side thermo fan is buggered and my EEC is buggered as well. Fortunately I have a spare one lying around. The problem is that it is out of an EL with a manual transmission - I guess I'll just have to throw in that 5 speed gear box I have lying around too! Thanks once again it's an excellent little unit. I'm still using my diagnostic unit, many years after I bought it. Being the Eseries tragic that I am owning 4, and having enough mates & family with them, we could fill a small car park, it was a great buy!
