G'Day Guys,

I have an 1998 XH UTE, I have recently purchased these Ford Logo Courtesy Lights online:

https://geek.wish.com/search/ford%20light#cid=584516c735a76d61fb7def2f

I have mounted them to my doors and ran the wiring to the door switch and they illuminate ... BUT ... it works opposite to my dome light ..... So when my door is open the Dome light is on BUT when I close the door or push the door switch in the new Ford Courtesy lights come on.... When I remove the switch from its holder, both lights come on but when the switch is reconnected it turns off again....

Off the back of the door switch is a BLACK wire, BLACK/BLUE with RED dotted wire which go to a white connector and off that connector is only a BLACK/BLUE with RED dotted wire which is spliced into a GREEN/YELLOW wire .....

How can I get this bugger of a light lol (new ford courtesy light) to work with my door switch/dome light???

Cheers :)

(just so you know im not a nerd when it comes to this stuff so please be patient if im not getting what you mean)

Connect the pink wire to a +ve power Supply at rear of fuse box.
or preferably find the green /yellow wire behind RH A pillar cover and connect it to it.
