I have an XH panno and am looking to swap the bench seat out for a couple of buckets. I thought i would come online to find which seats would fit
After much searching through older posts for an answer, all i got was frustrated. Some people are saying XD-XF seats will fit, some say ea-ed and some say ef-el. Does anyone know for sure, which will fit and which wont, or is it a matter of some will & some wont or ALL of them fit? Can anyone shed some light on the topic? Thanks |

xh use el seats, not sure if the mounts will be the same seeing you have a bench seat.

yes the xh uses the EF/EL seats
iirc from other threads, the bench seat mounting holes are slightly different. |

so the two outer rails should bolt in? is this what you guys are referring to?

no idea, never done it myself.
just know that ef/el bucket seats are the same as the xh's and will fit no probs. dont know anything else about the bench unfortunately. |

OK so heres the deal.. I did a conversion from bench to buckets in my xh. I purchased some EF/EL Fairmont seats, hoping to plug them straight in.. what i found out was that:
A) I needed to make 2 85mm spacers up to go in the bolt holes closest to the tunnel at the back (along with longer bolts) B) There was no threads in the bolt holes at the front closest to the tunnel. I havent quite worked out what to do there, any suggestions are more than welcome. Also i had a look at the wreckers and i think EB seats look like they have the space attached already. |

A, sounds like it has a ea-ed floor plan which is interesting..
B, use a nut and bolt |

Real old thread, but has anyone been able to confirm if XH floor pan is definitely EA-EB-ED?
Looking at getting those EB-ED leather option Recaro's for it. Then again, maybe I should just try the EB Ghia seats I have..

EB seats won’t go into XH floor pan.
I’ve tried. I have EB Fairmont Ghia seats from a previous car.
