So some of it works.
The LCD screen bulb is blown maybe? You'll need to dismantle it and maybe clean the touchpad contacts with metho. Those units are generally pretty good, they don't suffer the screen breakdown like the AU units do.

Possibly the bulb is blown but wouldnt the fans still work ? When it won't turn on I get nothing working , no fans, cant even have it on vent .
Yeah I'll take it all apart when i get time been having spark plug issues with it plus other things . Now that it's starting to get cooler it's not as bad driving with no fans/ aircon

Probably easier to swap in another unit to confirm the fault/s.

I was thinking that too, pick a part has a cc module so I'll try that one .

And if you suspect the fan, you can pull the glovebox and disconnect the tan connector, put a meter across the red and black lines, check for a couple of ohms resistance, and apply 12v and see if it runs.
