Sorry to drag up an old thread/topic which is been done to death but.............I'm in a similar situation as the OP. I have an 03 BA XR6 ute with the poverty pack single zone ICC. I picked up a BF Premium ICC yesterday and after reading this thread, would I be correct in saying that if I use the BEM from my current ICC and put it into the Premium ICC it should work??? Or is there a 50/50 chance I will need to get the radio coded? At this stage I'm not worried about not having the dual climate control, temp sensor or auto headlight function working. I can frustrate myself with that later!!

I can frustrate myself with that later!! Yes you will need to get the ICC coded (unless it's unlocked). Using your original BEM will allow you to start and drive the car. |

Hey all, apologies as above for bringing up an old thread, but i have a BA XR6 auto that I have the computer, ICC, and both ignition and door barrels in and am converting it to manual. I have a manual computer, ICC, barrels etc and want to know if i can swap the manual BCM into my dual zone ICC or do I need to find an up-spec ICC out of a manual? I am yet to swap my AC box over so have no AC atm and have the dash, wiring loom, rear bare (reverse sensors) out of the fairmont ghia and am hoping that swapping all this over will get me on the road again.
Any advice appreciated |

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone could give me some advice I recently. Changed from the standard ICC to the premium in my Ford territory but the screen will not work at all. The person I bought it off swears that it works and even provided photo proof.
All the controls ie aircon, radio buttons just no screen at all. Thank you to anyone who lends a hand |

Did you replace the complete unit, including the CD player?[/quote] We retained the cd player from my ICC as they were both single cd units. Will that cause an issue? Mine looked in much better condition. |

Yes, the colour mono cd players are different even though the plugs fit the same. on the underside the mono screen cd player it will say LO, colour screen will say HI. |

Your a legend just tried it and the screen now comes on but I get a Security Code error message

So reading the thread more thoroughly it seems I need a visit to Ford. What a shame.
The aircon isn't working either I assume that is apart of it all? I have noticed a big black mark on the screen as well unfortunately so another issue I'll need to look into. |

So i managed to put it into test mode and all the buttons are working in reverse ie 6 is 1 etc.. I'm at a loss I think I'll put the standard one in and just leave it for now. I do really like I the idea of it though

Just thought I would update this. Turns out the Cd Player and screen where faulty and that was the reason for my issue's.
