not a lot of room aye

No not much room at all but am going to see how far I can move the IC and radiator forward a bit to try and get some more room -the BF fan doesn't fit atm but can be trimmed more and if needed I'll get a sheet metal fan shroud made with a slimline fan.
Still have to get all the old wiring etc out as well.
Cheers Johnny.

Hey guys,so I need to run the TB on it's side-never had a problem with running the TB upside down for the 3 years the ute was on the road (actually seemed to flow better that way) but I'm just wondering if there will be any ill effects from having the TB on its side though????

If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears.
Cheers Johnny.

No problems using a throttle body on its side or upside down. The main problem will be how your accelerator/cruise control cable connects to it.

Hey guys,so turns out that I can use the BF single thermo fan after all-I do need to trim it a bit more but it will work.So the XFN is going to be a slow process and I'm wanting to do a bit of drag racing (never done it before) and the main things needed for the ute (XG) is a 38mm waste gate, some plazmaman valve springs and sort out dump pipe.Have a mini spool, tailshaft loop,I may be able to get some arp chrome moly nuts to suit my otherwise useless head studs then its working out transmission.
But this is using the BA engine thats in it atm.
Obviously this is to be trailered to the track-won't be regoed again.

So if anyone can help me and guide me to any links regarding rules and cost ect in either Newcastle or Sydney and/or any advice what so ever would be really helpful.

So 650cc injectors with the specs for ECU,using the CRS engine mounts, still need to find a cheapish or good ebay wastegate-one that actually works ok (Any suggestions?) & a screamer pipe, manifold has been machined for the up pipe and the sumps had a AN10 fitting welded on.

Hey guys,so have ordered a new sump gasket so I can swap sumps and I'll do the engine mounts at the same time, have the oil and return sorted but am unsure about the water/coolant side of things and where I should take it & return from?,can anyone help shed some light on this?

I know hey
Totally different goals tho,so have managed to get most of the old modified birds nest wiring out-still have more to remove from both BA & XG wiring and will be replaced with the blue harness I made way back yonder, which includes everything to suit BTR auto-engine & bay harness's and a few extra add on bits for afr etc......

Am going to put this together with what I have and a few ebay specials and see what it can do 8-)

Cheers Johnny

Hey Mad,it was bucket seat when I bought it-I just upgraded to the AU seats.
Most bench seat versions are column shift I think.
But don't quote me on that.

Cheers Johnny.

Hey guys,so am still going to be using a BA/BF BTR 4 speed auto so I can finally use the huge Derale trans cooler (can be used for other uses also) 6 AN that I bought years ago on auction for under $20 even have some cheap AN fittings and braided hose -not sure how good any of it is but I'll soon find out.
Cheers Johnny.

P.s can anyone tell me or give me some idea's about how to mount etc...will be going in between the radiator and intercooler.
